No. Do not douche, whether you’re pregnant or not. You do not need to douche to wash away blood, semen, or vaginal discharge. It’s better to let your vagina clean itself naturally. Keep in mind that healthy vaginas may have a mild odor. If you feel a need to clean the vulva while you are in the shower or bath, plain water is all you need. Do not use soaps or body washes on the vulva.
