- Which policies are payer-specific (ie Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace, Commercial) and which apply regardless of payer type
- How to submit a question or issue with payers on ACOG’s Payment Advocacy and Policy Portal
New Codes in 2023
New Codes in 2023 highlights new diagnosis (ICD-10) and procedure (CPT) codes for use in 2023. After completing this course, participants will be able to demonstrate:
- How to document for and select new diagnosis and procedure codes relevant for obstetric-gynecologic practice
- How new diagnosis and procedure codes are developed
- How to submit a proposal for new codes to the Committee on Health Economics & Coding
