For small or rural hospitals, the VRQC program offers the standard site visit at a reduced fee. The four day review includes a comprehensive, department-wide evaluation conducted by a customized team of health care professionals targeted towards the unique needs and resources of critical-access facilities.

How much does it cost?

The total fee is $35,000, which includes a deposit of $10,000, payable at the time of application; and travel, lodging, meals, remuneration for the team, and program administrative costs.

Additional reviewers may be added to the team at a cost of $5,000 per reviewer.
