As 2021 draws to a close, we pause to reflect and express gratitude to our amazing ACOG community. Over the past 12 months, you have provided your patients, community, and ACOG colleagues with invaluable support while continuing to persevere through the COVID-19 pandemic. You stayed informed on rapidly changing COVID-19 guidance, addressed misinformation, continued delivering essential obstetrics and gynecology care, and advocated for your fellow physicians and patients during a year that presented serious challenges as well as significant opportunities. As the landscape continues to evolve, ACOG is committed to continuing to support you, the obstetrics and gynecology profession, and women’s health care.

We honor your continued resilience in the face of the pandemic. Through tireless work, ongoing innovation, and unwavering dedication, you changed and saved countless lives. Thank you for giving your strength to so many.

We are filled with hope for the upcoming year. We look forward to reconnecting in-person at the Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting in San Diego in May, District and Section meetings, CREOG events, and mentorship opportunities.

As you reflect on 2021, we invite you to consider how your professional and personal perspectives have been reshaped in the past year and how you will embrace the opportunities that come with the start of a new year.

Thank you for your continued dedication to your profession. ACOG is proud to be working, supporting, and advocating for you and your patients.

With warmest wishes and appreciation,

J. Martin Tucker, MD, FACOG, President
Maureen G. Phipps, MD, MPH, FACOG, Chief Executive Officer
