Join ACOG in Observing International Women’s Day 2021
International Women's Day is a worldwide event every March 8 that celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. As physicians who are dedicated to providing medical care and counsel for women throughout their lives, obstetrician-gynecologists have an important role to play in celebrating this annual commemoration.
This year’s theme is Choose to Challenge. Please join ACOG in observing International Women’s Day 2021 by sharing on social media how you, as an obstetrician-gynecologist, Choose to Challenge gender bias and inequality.
Download and share the following graphics, and post your thoughts about how you will observe International Women’s Day on March 8. Don’t forget to include #ChooseToChallenge and #IWD2021 in your posts, and tag @ACOG.
