While ACOG is working diligently to secure additional financial assistance for practices that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to be sure you are aware of current financial support programs that may be available to your practice.

Practices that care for patients covered by Medicaid and were excluded from earlier relief funding are eligible to apply for federal relief through the HHS Enhanced Provider Relief Fund Payment portal  which closes July 20, 2020. Instructions and eligibility for this opportunity can be found in our Step-by-Step Guide  and on the HHS website.

The Federal Reserve has also opened the Main Street Lending Program  to provide loans to small and medium sized practices, which are defined as having 15,000 or fewer employees, or less than $5 billion in 2019 revenue. Our FAQs for Practices resource has more information

Congress also just extended the Paycheck Protection Program, which provides loans to small practices to help cover payroll and other eligible expenses. These loans may be forgivable, visit our FAQs to learn more

For more information on other financial support programs that may be available to you and your practice, visit our comprehensive guide on Financial Support for Physicians and Practices . ACOG continues to make headway advocating on behalf of obstetrician-gynecologists and their patients. Read more about how we are advocating on your behalf.
