Act Now for Financial Relief for Obstetrician-Gynecologists
Yesterday, we asked all ACOG members to reach out to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to ensure equitable financial relief for obstetrician-gynecologists. If you haven’t already, now is your chance to add your voice and let HHS know that women’s health practices need immediate financial relief. Act now!
While Congress has allocated federal relief funds to support struggling physician practices of all kinds, those funds have been distributed only to practices that have recently billed Medicare, leaving many women's health practices behind. ACOG recognizes that your women's health practices are facing financial difficulties and should be receiving equal relief so you can continue caring for your patients without worry.
That’s why ACOG is working around the clock to secure the financial relief that obstetrician–gynecologists urgently need. We've repeatedly urged the HHS to immediately direct relief funds to your women's health practices. More than 250 ACOG Fellows have already joined with us, but we need your voice to send a strong message to the decision-makers in the Administration.
ACOG will continue our advocacy efforts to ensure the financial stability of your practices and continued access to women's health care for your patients. Read more about our work to secure financial relief for you.
