Planning for Implementation: Steps One, Two, and Three

Obstetrician–gynecologist, Tiffany Moore Simas, MD, MPH, MEd, FACOG, and perinatal psychiatrist Nancy Byatt, DO, MS, MBA, DFAPA, FACLP, from UMass Chan Medical School/UMass Memorial Health provide an overview of the Guide for Integrating Mental Health Care into Obstetric Practice; introduce the mental health care pathway; and describe the first three planning steps, which are identifying champions, establishing a quality improvement team, and conducting a baseline assessment.
