ACOG Celebrates National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week is an opportunity to thank volunteers who keep organizations energized and build stronger and more connected communities. ACOG is excited to celebrate National Volunteer Week with the members who make such a difference in the lives of their colleagues, patients, and community members by dedicating their valuable time to serving as an ACOG leader. By volunteering your time—whether it’s as an ACOG leader or a leader within your community—you change the world, starting with yourself and the people around you.

To celebrate this week, ACOG President Iffath Abbasi Hoskins, MD, FACOG, shares how volunteering enriches her life.

We'd also like to share a special message of thanks from ACOG staff!

Looking to celebrate National Volunteer Week 2023? Here are three easy ways to get involved.

  1. Thank a volunteer.
  2. Volunteer for a position within ACOG! Learn more about how to get involved.
  3. Share your volunteer experience by tagging us on social media with a story of how volunteering—especially with ACOG—has changed your life or allowed you to change the lives of those around you. Find us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn.
