In November 2016, the National Quality Forum (NQF) approved new Contraceptive Care Measures from the Office of Population Affairs (OPA), intended to improve contraception access and help women achieve their personal reproductive health goals. This webinar presented by Mark Hathaway, MD, MPH will review the measures and highlight ways providers can implement them to improve family planning care in their practice. Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe the four NQF-endorsed OPA contraceptive care measures
- Detail the two main ways use of these performance measures will increase access to contraception
- Identify at least two tools for use in implementing the contraceptive care measures into clinical care settings
