Overview
Mark your calendars for the 2022 Armed Forces District Annual Meeting taking place in-person in Henderson, Nevada, from October 16–19. Join friends and colleagues from around the District to network and connect while learning from leading experts in the field.
This year's theme is "The Show Must Go On: Reunited and United." Whether you're attending the panel discussions or lectures, hearing about new and exciting research from your colleagues, or enjoying the exciting city's attractions, you're sure to enjoy yourself at this year's meeting.
Special Events
Junior Fellow Simulation Festival
This year's Junior Fellow Event is a friendly competition between our nine military residency programs. Each program has developed a low-cost, low-fidelity, and easily reproducible simulation model to showcase for our district. Please join us! Stop by and see their excellent work, learn about other junior fellow initiatives, and network with our outstanding junior fellows.
Junior Fellow Jeopardy
Back after a two-year COVID hiatus is the reason everyone comes to AFD! Come join in the fun for our annual tri-service Jeopardy competition, Elvis Presley-style. There will be a costume contest, so feel free to dress up in your best Elvis (or 1950s) attire. Come answer some tough OBGYN questions and cheer on your favorite branch as they battle for the coveted reigning champion title. Viva Las Vegas!
