District IV congratulates Wade A. Neiman, MD, recipient of a 2021 Outstanding District Service Award.

This award recognizes effective leaders and outstanding contributions performed by a Fellow on behalf of their particular district.

Wade A. Neiman, MD

Wade Neiman has practiced general obstetrics and gynecology in Lynchburg Virginia for over 30 years. He was born and spent his educational years in the Allentown area of Pennsylvania finishing his education in medicine with residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He is married to Andrea for 37 years. They have two adult children, Erica and Everett.

Throughout his career Dr. Neiman has been involved in teaching residents and students having developed rotational programs through a 12-doctor practice in Central Virginia. He has been active in his community and profession. He served ACOG in multiple positions culminating as the chair of District IV. He is a past president of the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He enjoys cinema, theater, music, and outdoor recreation. He is a an ever-frustrated golf enthusiast.
