Advanced Surgical Simulation and Endoscopic Surgical Simulation (ASSESS)

Course Description

The ACOG course Advanced Surgical Simulation and Endoscopic Surgical Simulation (ASSESS) offers a solid understanding of why simulation training is so important for gynecologic surgery. Through the ASSESS course, ACOG advocates for the training of laparoscopic surgery so that residents and seasoned surgeons alike can practice techniques, review procedures, follow evidence-based best practice guidelines, and receive feedback during simulated laparoscopic surgery, vaginal hysterectomy, and other advanced surgical procedures.
