Requirements and Guidelines
- Abstracts must be submitted online via the abstract submission portal by 5:00 pm ET on August 17, 2022
- Complete information must be entered in the required fields on the webpage.
- The submission must present completed data sets.
- Submitted abstracts may not be presented at any other meeting or published in any journal before the meeting.
- Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
Format Specifications
- Abstract Title must not be more than 100 characters.
- Limit Oral and Poster Abstracts to 250 words, not including title, authors, affiliations and keywords.
- Limit Breakout and Small Group Abstracts to 750 words, not including title, speaker, affiliations and keywords.
- Abstracts are limited to six (6) authors, including the primary author.
- Tables are not allowed in abstracts.
Headings
Each oral abstract or poster submission should include the following headings:
- Purpose
- Background
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion
Each breakout or small group submission should include the following headings:
- Learning or Performance Objectives (describe what your session will achieve)
- Background (describe relevance to members)
- Description of Session (describe the structure, activities, and materials that will be used; be clear about what makes your session interactive)
Keyword(s)
- Include up to three (3) keywords/topic areas that best describe your abstract
- These keywords/topic areas will allow attendees to search for your session in our meeting app
