The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.™ Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

College Cognate Credit(s)

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.75 Category 1 College Cognate Credits. The College has a reciprocity agreement with the AMA that allows AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to be equivalent to College Cognate Credits.

The breakdown of the number of credits for each day of the meeting is as follows:

  • Friday, October 27 = 4.5 credits
  • Saturday, October 28 = 4 credits
  • Sunday, October 29 = 2.25 credits

At the beginning of the program, faculty members are required to disclose any such information to participants. Online Evaluations and Certificate of Attendance

As a participant, you will (1) complete the evaluation online and (2) print your certificate of attendance online. The certificate will be available on the first day of the course and remain available for 3 months after the course is completed.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this meeting, participants should be able to …

  1. Identify opportunities in the clinic and the community, and learn skills to advocate for women’s health, including reproductive justice, equity within women’s health research, maternal mental health, and the health impact of climate change.
  2. Review and discuss best clinical practices to implement in the office regarding STI screening and management, transgender health care, and addressing human trafficking.
  3. Learn enhanced practice sustainability techniques including team-based communication skills, incorporation of trauma-informed care, updated billing strategies, and work-life balance activities.
