ACOG National Wellness Week
February 1–12, 2021
The past year has been uniquely challenging—physically, mentally, and emotionally. The global pandemic and many uncertainties about the future have placed a strain on everyone, and especially those in the medical field. For physicians and residents, so much time and energy are devoted to patients’ health and wellbeing, but it’s also critical to focus on your own wellness. Remember, you’re best equipped to help your patients when you are healthy yourself—mentally and physically.
About ACOG National Wellness Weeks 2021
ACOG is dedicated to physician wellness, and each year, in collaboration with the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG), hosts Wellness Week to celebrate and encourage wellness and decrease burnout among physicians and residents. Wellness is always important, but this past year has reinforced the need for it.
Join ACOG and CREOG in a celebration of wellness around the country by promoting physician wellness at your program from Monday, February 1 to Friday, February 12, 2021!
Being part of Wellness Weeks is easy:
- Plan daily activities to promote physician and program wellness
- Share your activities on social media and use #ACOGBeWell2021 for a chance to be featured on ACOG social media channels and tell how your program is staying on top of wellness.
