University of Rochester Medical Center PGY-3 Position Available

The mission of our Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program is guided by the motto at the University of Rochester: Meliora- ever better. The position is available October 1, 2022. Applicants must be currently enrolled as a PGY-3 in good academic standing. All applicants must have passed USMLE 1, 2, and Step 3.

The following materials are required for review:

  • Cover letter, which includes reason for leaving current program and why you are interested in our program
  • Current CV
  • Complete ERAS application
  • Two letters of recommendation from current OBGYN faculty members
  • CREOG exam scores from PGY-1 and PGY-2 years
  • Up-to-date ACGME Case logs (Experience by Role report)
  • A letter from your Program Director including verification of rotations completed to date, statement of good standing in the program, willingness to release you from your current training contract and ACGME Milestone year-end reports for the prior year of training.

International medical graduates must have ECFMG certificate, US Citizenship, or US permanent resident status.

The Brooklyn Hospital, Brooklyn, NY

A PGY-3 position in The Brooklyn Hospital OB/GYN Residency program is available July 1, 2022. Applicants must be currently enrolled and be successfully completing two years in an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program (progressing to PGY-3 effective July 1, 2022) and due to complete the academic year in good standing. The position will progress to a PGY-4 July 1, 2023 dependent on appropriate progression through milestones.

All applicants must have passed USMLE 1, 2 & Step 3. Osteopathic candidates are required to have met the same standard for the COMLEX I, II & III examinations.

Lincoln Medical Center, Bronx, NY

Open position effective July 1, 2022. Candidates must have completed two years of training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in good academic standing in an ACGME-accredited training program, and must have successfully passed USMLE/COMLEX Steps 1, 2 CK and 2 CS, and 3.

To be considered, applicants must submit the following documentation:

  4. Copy of all USMLE or COMLEX (Step / Level 1, 2 knowledge, 2 clinical & 3 scores. Note: must have passed Step 3.)

A PGY-3 position is available July 1, 2022. Applicants must be currently enrolled as a PGY-2 (progressing to PGY-3 effective July 1, 2022) or a current PGY-3 (effective July 1, 2022 at an accredited ACGME program, in good standing). All applicants must have passed USMLE 1, 2 and Step 3. The position will progress to a PGY-4 July 1, 2023 dependent on appropriate progression through milestones.

Our residents practice evidence based medicine, participate in at least one quality project and complete at least one research project during their training.

The following documents are required:

PGY-3 position available to start on July 1,2022. Qualified applicants must have completed or be on track to complete two years of training in an ACGME -accredited OB/GYN residency program and be in good standing. Interested residents must have passed USMLE/COMLEX Step 1, 2 & 3.

Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center, Marietta, GA

Our program is desirous of a qualified future team member as PGY-3 position available beginning July 1, 2022 upon approval. Applicants must have successfully completed 24 months of an ACGME-accredited Ob/Gyn training program, 12 months completed as a PGY-1, and 12 months completed as a PGY-2. All applicants must have successfully passed USMLE Step Examinations 1 & 2 (CS & CK). Osteopathic candidates are required to have met the same standard for the COMLEX I & II examinations.

Rutgers Health - Jersey City Medical Center, NJ

An OB/GYN PGY-3 position is available July 1, 2022. Interested candidates must have successfully completed 24 months of OB/GYN (PGY-1 and 2) training at an ACGME accredited US residency program and provide a verification letter of support and good standing from your Program Director.

Candidates should submit at least two current letters of recommendation. Candidates must have passed USMLE Steps 1, 2 CK, CS and 3. Please have your program coordinator provide a copy of your previously completed ERAS application (final medical school transcript and diploma, USMLE scores, MSPE, letters of recommendation), a copy of your block schedule, evaluations including semi-annual, ACGME case logs, and CREOG in-service training exam scores.
