Rutgers Health - Jersey City Medical Center 

OBGYN PGY 3 position available July 1, 2021. Interested candidates must have successfully completed 24 months of OB/GYN (PGY1 and 2) training at an ACGME accredited US residency program and provide a verification letter of support and good standing from your Program Director. Candidates should submit at least two current letters of recommendation. Candidates must have passed USMLE Steps 1, 2 CK, CS and 3. Please have your program coordinator provide a copy of your previously completed ERAS application (final medical school transcript and diploma, USMLE scores, MSPE, letters of recommendation), a copy of your block schedule, evaluations including semi-annual, ACGME case logs, and CREOG in-service training exam scores. You will also need to provide a letter explaining why you are planning to leave your current position. Please have your coordinator submit all materials to Daphne Boards at Daphne.Boards@rwjbh.org

International medical graduates must provide a copy of ECFMG certificate and either have US Citizenship, US permanent resident status, or provide current visa status.

Rutgers Health – Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark, NJ

PGY-3 position available to start June 24, 2021. Candidates must be on track to successfully complete two years of ACGME Accredited Ob/Gyn residency training and are in good standing with their current program.

Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (NYC) Health and Hospital/Queens Training Program

A PGY-3 position is available starting July 1, 2021. Eligible applicants must be in good academic standing and will have completed two years of training at an ACGME accredited ob-gyn residency program by June 30, 2021. 

Interested candidates should prepare the following information to submit for review (if applicable): Original ERAS application, Medical school diploma, ECFMG certificate, Medical school transcript, MSPE, USMLE scores, Personal statement), Current CV, Cover letter addressing the rationale to transfer to another program, ACGME Log case summary, Evaluations in PGY I and the semiannual evaluation PGY II, list of completed rotations with dates, CREOG scores, summative competency-based performance evaluations, letter of good standing from your current program director verifying your training and progress in the program. Additional, current letters of recommendation.

Your program director will need to submit a summary evaluation of your performance, all materials should be sent BY EMAIL ONLY, to Marilyn Johnson johnmari@nychhc.org with “PGY-3 Application” in the subject line. You will be notified of an opportunity to interview once your application packet is complete, and all materials have been reviewed. Dignity Health, Marian Regional Medical Center, Santa Maria, CA

PGY-3 position available to start on July 1, 2021. Eligible applicants must be in good academic standing at an ACGME accredited OB/GYN residency program, are on track to successfully complete two years (24 months) of training in Obstetrics & Gynecology, and be competent to fill a PGY 3 level OBGYN residency program position on July 1, 2021. Interested applicants must have passed USMLE/COMLEX Steps 1, 2 CK and 2 CS and 3 on first attempt. Interested candidates should submit the following information: 

  1. A letter of good standing from current Program Director including a statement they will release the applicant from their training contract. 
  2. Two letters of recommendation from current faculty members
  3. Medical School diploma and complete ERAS application to include: medical school transcript, MSPE, USMLE scores and personal statement. 
  4. Rotations completed with dates and rotation specific evaluations and summative competency-based performance evaluations including most recent 6 month semi-annual review report. 
  5. Current ACGME Case Logs, with all roles displayed. 
  6. CREOG exam scores once available 
  7. Cover letter including reason for leaving current program, seeking transfer to our location/program.

Eligible applicants must be in good academic standing at an ACGME accredited OB/GYN residency program, have successfully completed two years (24 months) of training in Obstetrics & Gynecology, be on track to complete residency in June 2022 and be competent to fill a PGY 3 level OBGYN residency program position. Lincoln Medical Center – Bronx, New York

PGY-3 position open immediately, due to the unexpected relocation of a current resident. Candidates must have completed two years of training in Obstetrics & Gynecology in good academic standing in an ACGME-accredited training program, and must have successfully passed USMLE/COMLEX Steps 1, 2 CK and 2 CS, and 3 with no failed attempts.

To be considered, applicants must submit the following documentation:

  1. Cover letter including reason for leaving current program; 
  2. Complete ERAS application;
  3. Current CV; 
  4. Copy of all USMLE or COMLEX (Step / Level 1, 2 knowledge, 2 clinical & 3 scores) 
     (Note: must have passed Step 3); 
  5. All CREOG scores;
  6. Current ACGME Milestones; 
  7. Current ACGME Resident Case Log data; 
  8. Documentation of: US citizenship, US permanent residency (green card), or current J-1 visa;

You will also need a letter from your program director releasing you from your current training contract, which provides a competency based summary evaluation, a statement documenting your current status in the program, a current ACGME Op-Log report, and a summary of the rotations you have completed, including dates. University of Arizona – Tucson, AZ

PGY-3 position available immediately upon approval. Eligible candidates must have successfully completed two years of OB/GYN residency training in an ACGME accredited program. Applicants must submit a cover letter explaining reason for leaving current program as well as their full ERAS application, updated and current CV, three letters of recommendation (one letter must be from your current Program Director which verifies that you have (1) completed your PGY1 & PGY2 in good standing, and (2) satisfactorily complete your PGY 1 and PGY 2 training; two additional letters should be from another core OBGYN faculty member within the current program), USMLE transcripts (Steps 1, 2 & 3), ACGME case logs, notarized copy of medical school diploma, a list of completed rotations, milestone evaluations with summative competency based performance evaluations , and CREOG scores from 1st and 2nd year.

SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University/ University Hospital – Brooklyn, NY

A PGY-3 position is available starting July 1, 2020. Applicants must currently be in good standing as a PGY-2 in an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program. Your program director should be aware that you are applying for the position. Applicants should submit the following to the Program Director, Dr. Mudar Dalloul: 1. Cover letter describing your reason for leaving your current program. 2.Copy of your ERAS application including MSPE and final medical school transcript grades. 3. USMLE/COMLEX Steps 1, 2, and 3 score reports. 4. At least one recent (within the prior 12 months) letter of recommendation from current program faculty. 5. Letter of recommendation from your current program director also verifying your good standing. 6. CREOG scores for PGY-1 and PGY-2 year. 7. List of completed rotations including dates and description of rotations.

Our residency program has a PGY-3 opening beginning July 1, 2020. Applicants must be in good standing at their current program and/or successfully completed one year of training in an ACGME accredited ob-gyn residency training program. 

The following documents are required: ERAS application to include a copy of your medical school transcript, medical school diploma, Dean’s letter, USMLE Step 1, 2, 3, C/S examination score transcripts, Current Curriculum Vitae, Letters of recommendation from two current ob-gyn faculty, CREOG exam scores, Your personal statement indicating reason for leaving program, seeking transfer to our location/program. Up-to-date case log report with all of your post graduate surgical experience. List of rotations completed to date. International medical graduates must have ECFMG certificate, US Citizenship or US permanent resident status, California PTAL or California license. All qualified candidates must be eligible to work in California, and be able to obtain a medical license with the California Medical Board.
