University of Arizona - Tucson, AZ

PGY-3 position available immediately upon approval. Eligible candidates must have successfully completed two years of OB/GYN residency training in an ACGME accredited program. Applicants must submit a cover letter explaining reason for leaving current program as well as their full ERAS application, updated and current CV, three letters of recommendation (one letter must be from your current Program Director which verifies that you have (1) completed your PGY1 & PGY2 in good standing, and (2) satisfactorily complete your PGY 1 and PGY 2 training; two additional letters should be from another core OBGYN faculty member within the current program), USMLE transcripts (Steps 1, 2 & 3), ACGME case logs, notarized copy of medical school diploma, a list of completed rotations, milestone evaluations with summative competency based performance evaluations , and CREOG scores from 1st and 2nd year.

Hanover Regional Medical Center - Wilmington, NC

A PGY3 position is available starting July 3, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. To learn more about our program please visit our website. Applicants must currently be in good standing and successfully completed two years in an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program. Applicants should submit the following to the Program Manager, Kim Shepard: 1. SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University/ University Hospital - Brooklyn, NY

A PGY-3 position is available starting July 1, 2020. Applicants must currently be in good standing as a PGY-2 in an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program. The Brooklyn Hospital Center - Brooklyn, NY 

PGY3 ACGME accredited approved position available in Obstetrics and Gynecology effective July 1, 2020. The applicant must be a resident in good standing and have completed 2 years in an accredited ACGME approved Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program. Interested applicant must have successfully passed USMLE Steps: 1; 2CK; CS; and 3 or COMLEX Steps 1; 2PE; CE; and 3 with no failed attempts. 

  • Applicant should submit the following information/documents:  
  • Complete ERAS application to include: (MSPE, USMLE scores and personal statement). 
  • USLME or COMLEX Step 3 (if not part of the ERAS application)
  • Medical school diploma
  • Final medical school transcript

Kern Medical – Bakersfield, CA

Our residency program has a PGY-3 opening beginning July 1, 2020. Applicants must be in good standing at their current program and/or successfully completed one year of training in an ACGME accredited ob-gyn residency training program. 

The following documents are required: ERAS application to include a copy of your medical school transcript, medical school diploma, Dean’s letter, USMLE Step 1, 2, 3, C/S examination score transcripts, Current Curriculum Vitae, Letters of recommendation from two current ob-gyn faculty, CREOG exam scores, Your personal statement indicating reason for leaving program, seeking transfer to our location/program. Up-to-date case log report with all of your post graduate surgical experience. List of rotations completed to date. International medical graduates must have ECFMG certificate, US Citizenship or US permanent resident status, California PTAL or California license. All qualified candidates must be eligible to work in California, and be able to obtain a medical license with the California Medical Board. University of Cincinnati-Cincinnati, OH

A PGY3 position will be available starting July 1, 2020. Interested applicants must be a resident in good standing, and on track to complete PGY1 and PGY2 years in an ACGME residency program by June 30, 2020. Interested applicants must have passed USMLE/COMLEX Step I/IICK/IICS/III without any failed attempts.

Interested applicants should send a Letter of Interest, CV, USMLE score report, MSPE, CREOG scores, completed residency rotations with dates, and ACGME procedure logs to Mrs. Michelle Reinhardt (reinhamh@ucmail.uc.edu) with subject line “PGY3 Resident position." The Letter of Interest should indicate the rationale for switching programs. Two letters of recommendation are required and should be sent to Mrs. Reinhardt, under separate cover. One letter should be from the current Program Director, and include a statement they will release the applicant from their training contract by June 30, 2020. Letter writers should also indicate the applicant has waived their rights to see contents. All completed applications will be reviewed and interview invitations will be extended by email. The position will remain unfilled until a qualified applicant is identified.

University of South Alabama/USA Health - Mobile, AL

PGY 3 ob-gyn position available July 1, 2020. We are a fully accredited ob-gyn program with 4 residents per year as part of a University Health system including a free-standing Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Applicants must be currently enrolled as a PGY 2 in an accredited ACGME ob-gyn residency program in good academic standing in an ACGME-accredited training program, and must have successfully passed USMLE/COMLEX Steps 1, 2 CK and 2 CS, and 3 with no failed attempts.

Osteopathic candidates are required to have met the same standard for the COMLEX examination.
