ACOG's Committee on Health Economics and Coding and ACOG's Executive Board believe physicians must educate themselves and their staff about appropriate coding and billing practices. Attend a Coding Workshop to get the resources you need to focus on and update your Evaluation and Management coding skills in anticipation of the pending reporting changes for those services to be implemented in 2021. Stay up to date with other ongoing changes to payment policies, as well as continue honing your diagnostic and procedural coding skills for a more efficient practice model.
Diagnostic and procedural coding principles and guidelines will be illustrated with the current HIPAA standard code sets; ICD-10-CM and CPT. This workshop will consist of up to three days. This format enables physicians to choose the topic or topics of interest to them.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is designed for physicians. However, if accompanied by a physician, up to five office coding staff may also attend. Once the physician has attended, his/her staff may attend alone for up to two years after the date the physician attended. Contact the Registrar for more information.
