2020 Call for Abstracts
The District IV Scientific Program Committee is now accepting abstracts!
Since our Annual District Meeting is cancelled, District IV is hosting a virtual Medical Student and Resident Research Day on Sunday, October 11. We encourage District IV medical students, residents, and new junior fellows in practice who completed research in residency to submit your research. We know how hard you worked this year. Now is your time to gain some well-deserved recognition and present to your fellow ACOG colleagues.
Participants will have the opportunity to showcase oral and poster presentations. Oral presenters will receive a $100 honoraria and the Donald F. Richardson Prize paper will receive a $250 honoraria.
We will award the Donald F. Richardson Prize to the abstract that scores the highest. The Junior Fellow who receives the award will receive a longer presentation slot and will be entered into the national competition for a chance to present at the 2021 ACOG Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting, which will be held in Washington, D.C., from April 30 to May 3. Only two winners are selected from all twelve Districts.
Only Junior Fellows in Residency training from ACGME-accredited programs in District IV are eligible to win the Donald F. Richardson award.
The deadline to submit an abstract is Friday, August 14, 2020, 11:59 ET.
