ACOG District I Resident AMA-RFS Representative

Term of Service

This term will begin May 2023, and end in May 2025.

Criteria

1. You must be an ACOG District I Junior Fellow Member
2. You must be in the PGY-2 year of training at an allopathic ACGME-accredited resident program in the United States
3. You must be a member of the AMA

Duties

1. Attend the AMA-RFS meetings in June and November each year
2. Serve as a member of the District I Junior Fellow Advisory Council
3. Attend the District I Junior Fellow Advisory Council Meetings twice a year (spring/fall)
4. Submit written report to the Junior Fellow Advisory Council Meetings at the District I Annual Meeting
5. One RFS representative will be selected from the group to be ACOG’s Young Physician Section representative every three years
   1. This person will be responsible for attending and reporting about the AMA at the YPS meeting at ACOG’s annual meeting. Tenure for this position will be at least 3 years.

1. District I will fund/reimburse attendance to the AMA meetings (in June and November)
