ACOG District I Resident AMA-RFS Representative
Term of Service
This term will begin May 2023, and end in May 2025.
Criteria
- You must be an ACOG District I Junior Fellow Member
- You must be in the PGY-2 year of training at an allopathic ACGME-accredited resident program in the United States
- You must be a member of the AMA
Duties
- Attend the AMA-RFS meetings in June and November each year
- Serve as a member of the District I Junior Fellow Advisory Council
- Attend the District I Junior Fellow Advisory Council Meetings twice a year (spring/fall)
- Submit written report to the Junior Fellow Advisory Council Meetings at the District I Annual Meeting
- One RFS representative will be selected from the group to be ACOG’s Young Physician Section representative every three years
- This person will be responsible for attending and reporting about the AMA at the YPS meeting at ACOG’s annual meeting. Tenure for this position will be at least 3 years.
