What Your Donation Supports

Membership dues only account for 35% of our annual budget, so donations to the ACOG Foundation Annual Fund are an invaluable financial component in our ability to participate in and initiate new programs and projects. Past contributions have supported an array of important activities including a contraception conference at a joint Annual District Meeting, research on gender inequities in coding and reimbursement, and a survey of our members on FDA labeling and package inserts for vaccines in pregnancy. Which Society is right for you?

* Please note that contributions to the ACOG Foundation are considered charitable donations and are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by applicable law.

For Beacham and President’s Society Members who attend the Annual Meeting, your charitable donation is limited to the amount of your gift less the value of registration. This $650.00 decrease may still qualify as a tax-deductible business expense under IRS regulations and we encourage you to consult your tax advisor. If however, you receive complimentary registration through another College activity or responsibility, your donation is fully tax deductible. For President’s Society members bringing a spouse, your tax deductibility would decrease by an additional $200.00.

IRA

For those who are 70 ½ or older, consider making a gift to the ACOG Foundation from your IRA. By giving directly from your IRA via Freewill, you won’t increase your adjusted gross income and possibly subject your Social Security income to a higher level of taxation.
