The mission of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusive Excellence Workgroup is to develop a blueprint to inform and guide ACOG in fostering a dynamic, diverse, and inclusive community where every member thrives and where the perspective of every member is heard, supported, and valued.  

Approach

The Workgroup will provide recommendations to the ACOG Board of Directors to advance equity and inclusive excellence in staffing, membership, and leadership at all levels; within committees and programming; and through its culture and policies. These recommendations – which are integral to ACOG’s strategic vision — aim to support the growth and retention of members, enable transparent pathways for volunteer leadership, and boost engagement from members across the organization.

Feedback & Participation

The Workgroup’s success depends on learning and hearing from ACOG’s members. ACOG values each of its 60,000 member voices. We have created several different ways to learn about members and their experiences, including qualitative and quantitative research. This  webform is a way for any member to share insights that can be helpful to our ongoing work to inform initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusive excellence at ACOG. 

We encourage all members to participate and to offer candid and productive feedback so that we can achieve the most inclusive community.
