Committee Opinion: Prevention of Group B Streptococcal Early-Onset Disease in Newborns
This Committee Opinion, published by ACOG in July 2019, discusses risk factors, screening, testing, and perinatal management of group B streptococcus.

In addition to replacing Committee Opinion 485, this Committee Opinion (including tables, boxes, and figures) serves to update and replace the obstetric components of the CDC 2010 GBS guidelines. CDC plans to archive its 2010 GBS guidelines when updated GBS guidance from ACOG, AAP, and ASM are all available.
