Skills and Techniques

After completing this course, participants should be able to:

  • Improve team building and communication techniques
  • Implement the use of drills and simulations at your institution or improve existing mechanisms
  • Disclose adverse events and implement strategies to assist the patients, their families, and the second victim

  • Present or rising physician leaders in hospital ob-gyn departments, ambulatory care centers, or multi-specialty groups
  • Nurse leaders in hospital Labor and Delivery departments, such as nurse managers and unit directors
