American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
ACOG Patient Education Pamphlets are available fulltext in the member section, and FAQs for patients and a “find an ob-gyn” tool are available on the For Patients page.

Annual Women’s Health Care
This website has information on annual exams for women, including needed screening tests, evaluations, counseling, and immunizations based on age and risk factors, and includes links to College guidelines.

American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM)
ASRM’s site includes practice guidelines and other information for members, and links to the ReproductiveFacts.org website for consumer information, which includes a “find a doctor” function.

Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP)
The ARHP’s menopause website has news, online brochures for patients, information for professionals, and links to other resources.

Australasian Menopause Society
This site has position statements and information on education and research. Patient resources include self-assessment tools, fact sheets, and other resources.

British Menopause Society
Resources include information on books and other publications, menopause care training programs, consensus statements, and fact sheets.

Endocrine Society
This site has endocrinology information for professionals, including information on menopause and hormone therapy. A link to the Hormone Health Network for patient information is also included.

Hormone Health Network
This is the public education affiliate of the Endocrine Society. The website has information and fact sheets for patients on menopause, osteoporosis, and other hormonal conditions.

FDA Office of Women’s Health – Menopause
This website by the FDA offers informational materials and guidance on menopausal hormone therapies. The site includes a brochure for patients and links to more information from the FDA and other government agencies.

Healthy Women: Health Center – Menopause
This is a nonprofit, national clearinghouse for women’s health information. The website’s menopause section includes a menopause guide and information on menopause symptoms and their treatment.

International Menopause Society
This website includes educational materials, position papers, the IMS journal Climacteric, and information on World Menopause Day.

MedlinePlus - Menopause
From the National Library of Medicine, this site for consumers includes information on the latest menopause news, alternative therapy, clinical trials, coping, research, treatment, organizations, and more.

This website contains information for women on menopause, including a menopause overview and information on lifestyle changes, hormone therapy, complementary and alternative medicine, and other health concerns.

National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health – Menopausal Symptoms
This site from the National Institutes of Health includes information on complementary and alternative therapies for menopausal symptoms.

National Institutes of Health: Osteoporosis and Related Bone Diseases – National Resource Center
This site from NIH has patient information and links on osteoporosis and other bone disorders, some of which are available in Spanish and Asian languages.

National Institute on Aging
This site has health information and publications on menopause, hormone therapy, osteoporosis, and other related topics.

National Osteoporosis Foundation
This site provides information for professionals and consumers on the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis. There is also a link to NOF’s Bone Source website for information for healthcare professionals.

National Women’s Health Information Center – Menopause
This website has information on menopause, including menopause basics, early menopause, symptom relief and treatments, hormone therapy, sexuality, and mental health.

North American Menopause Society (NAMS)
This site has information for health care professionals and consumers on perimenopause, early menopause, menopause symptoms, and therapies. It includes consumer education materials and a physician directory.

Women's Health Initiative (WHI)
The Women’s Health Initiative was a 15-year study on cardiovascular disease, cancer, and osteoporosis in women. This site provides information on the WHI and study results, including postmenopausal hormone therapy clinical trials.

Women’s Voices for Change
This website, focused on women over 40, has information on medical, emotional and sexual health, and many other topics. Health information includes menopause, hormone therapy, heart health, cancer, and more.
