 District II Call for Essays

District II is pleased to announce the Call for Essays, “In the Multitasking World of Medicine, Career, and Family, How Can Junior Fellows Incorporate Physician Wellness Techniques in Their Lives to Bring Balance?"
At some point in their careers, physicians can experience emotional and physical exhaustion leaving them at risk for burnout. ACOG District II Junior Fellows are invited to share their thoughts and experiences in essay format on how Junior Fellows can incorporate physician wellness skills as they launch their careers in the high paced and ever changing healthcare environment. The winning author will receive a trip to the Annual District II Meeting in Bermuda, October 5-8, 2017.



Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Paper Award

The Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Paper Award, a national ACOG research paper contest, is currently underway. District II Junior Fellows are encouraged to submit a paper from basic science or clinical research in this highly acclaimed ACOG contest. Prizes include presenting your research to Annual District II Meeting attendees in Southampton, Bermuda and winning $2,000 to cover expenses to attend the 2018 Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting in Austin, Texas.


NOTE: Passports Required

Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory and requires a valid passport for entry. Please allow at least one month to acquire a U.S. passport.
