Announcement of the Winner of the ACOG History Fellowship

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists presented the 2018 Fellowship in the History of American Obstetrics and Gynecology to Elizabeth Watkins, Ph.D., whose research project is titled “IUDs and Implants:  How Long-Acting Contraception Made a Comeback in 21st Century America. 

This award carries a stipend of $5,000 to be used to defray expenses while spending a month in the College Resource Center historical collection--and other medical/historical collections in the DC area--performing research into some area of American obstetric-gynecologic history.  Applications for the year 2019 award will be accepted until 1 October 2018.
