About the Research Department

The Research Department is responsible for conducting diverse studies to discern the practice knowledge and educational needs of ACOG Fellows. Studies typically include fellows and junior fellows of the college and are administered via electronic and hard-copy mail surveys. Studies have assessed a wide range of issues related to pregnancy and women's health (see publications list). Our research findings are used for the development of current practice guidelines and are published in peer review journals.
