District V -

Attend District V’s 2018 Annual District Meeting with the: JOHN GIBBONS MEDICAL STUDENT AWARD!

*Deadline extended ONLY FOR INDIANA, KENTUCKY, and ONTARIO, Canada medical students


To Apply:
Submit a one-page essay in response to the following prompt:
How has medicine planted “seeds of inspiration” in you and what has changed in you as a result?

One winner from each District V Section will receive monetary assistance towards attending this year’s meeting in Kansas City, Missouri!

District IV -

Join ACOG members from across the country for the 2018 Districts IV & VI Annual Meeting in Savannah, GA from September 28-30, 2018.

Deadline for Submission: July 27, 2018

To Apply, email the following to mmorse@acog.org:

1. Current resume or curriculum vitae
2. Statement of interest detailing how you would benefit by attending the ACOG Annual District IV Meeting (500 words maximum)
3. Recommendation by your ob-gyn mentor or the faculty advisor of the ob-gyn Medical Student Interest Group on your statement of interest

*Candidate Criteria
* M2-M4 ACOG Medical Student member of District IV in the Georgia or South Carolina Sections.
* Must be available to attend and participate in the entire Annual District IV Meeting (September 28-30, 2018)

District VII -

Join ACOG members from across the nation for the 2018 Districts V & VII Annual Meeting in Kansas City, Missouri September 21 - 23.

Deadline for Submission: June 29, 2018 

Candidate Criteria:
Candidates must be M2-M4 ACOG Medical Student member of District VII (Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mexico, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee), and available to attend and participate in the entire meeting.

To Apply:
Please submit the following materials to district7@acog.org by June 29 to be considered for the Gibbons Award.

•Copy of current Curriculum Vitae
•Statement of Interest detailing how you would benefit from attending the Annual District Meeting (500 words maximum)
•Signature by student AND faculty ob-gyn mentor or the faculty advisor of the ob-gyn Medical Student Interest Group on the Statement of Interest
