Family Planning Annual Report (FPAR 2.0) Interoperability Initiative

The Office of Population Affairs (OPA) is working with ACOG to develop an interoperable, standards-based reporting system that can be used to collect a set of defined data elements from Title X sites in the United States.

This new data reporting system, once implemented, will collect the Family Planning Annual Report 2.0 (FPAR 2.0) data and will be the first of its kind in the reproductive health sector.

It is anticipated that this system will enrich the current data available from the Title X network. It will improve OPA’s ability to assess service delivery related to reproductive health, family planning, and related preventive health issues. The health IT infrastructure established from this project may also support providers and clinics in quality improvement efforts.
