The CREOG wellness curriculum consists of six 90-minute workshops that introduce the subject of wellness to residents and help improve burnout and professional fulfillment. The workshops focus on cultivating empathy and gratitude, increasing resilience, managing difficult events, time management and prioritization, mission, values and culture. The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) added a new requirement, Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS), for physicians seeking board certification for the contemporary practice of obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN).  The new requirement will apply to residents graduating after May 31, 2020.
