CREOG received a request from the University of Puerto Rico to help them place four senior residents for MIS rotations. They were unable to complete those rotations due to devastating conditions Puerto Rico was facing post Hurricane Maria.

Dr. Keimari Mendez, the OBGYN Residency Program Director at the University of Puerto Rico, said “Our residents and faculty are very grateful for the support everyone gave us in response to the Hurricane disaster. We expect to return to normality soon in terms of volume of cases, but the experience was so rich for those who already did the rotation, that we hope we can keep the agreement to repeat the rotation with future residents.”
