Clinical Practice: ACOG Resource Keeps You Up to Date for National HIV Testing Day

June 27 is National HIV Testing Day. Remind your patients to get tested and stay up to date on the latest resources on HIV. With a fresh new look, the ACOG Women and HIV website includes links to resources from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health, and other expert HIV organizations.

Physicians and patients can also access ACOG clinical guidance for both pregnant and non-pregnant women. The website includes easy access to ACOG’s HIV-related Committee Opinions and Practice Bulletins. Resources are available on reducing mother-to-child transmission, preventing HIV infection with PrEP, pregnancy planning, preconception care, and gynecologic health care for HIV-positive women and adolescents. Womenandhiv.org is continually updated with new webinars, some of which offer free CME.
