Medical Education: ACOG eModules Grant CME Credit with Focus on Specialties

ACOG eModules grant CME credit online through interactive approaches, bringing professional learning content to life. With a score of 80% or higher, health care professionals can earn up to 7 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. One module can be completed in about 1.5 hours on a tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. These brief and informative online modules give providers the opportunity to update their knowledge with current, up-to-date literature about specialized topics such as urinary tract infections (UTIs).

In Preventive Measures for Urinary Tract Infections, providers learn how to prevent recurrent UTIs by understanding the underlying pathophysiology and principles of antibiotic stewardship. Upon completion, providers should be able to develop evidence-based strategies to evaluate and treat patients with recurrent UTIs and communicate effectively with patients about treatment strategies to prevent recurrent UTIs. The eModule also provides printable, up-to-date Committee Opinions, Practice Bulletins, and a patient FAQ sheet.
