Events & Meetings: ACOG TV Makes Triumphant Return to Annual Meeting

ACOG TV makes a return to the ACOG Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting in 2017 after a successful debut in 2016. Attendees in 2016 really enjoyed seeing their peers discuss obstetrics and gynecology on TV. ACOG TV received over 5,000 views from both attendees and non-attendees in May 2016 alone.

ACOG TV is a sponsorship opportunity that allows you and your institution to use a video platform to engage people in important issues in women’s health. New daily episode air during the conference featuring:

  • Conference News: Onsite, ACOG TV will film interviews, capture session highlights and hear delegates’ insights and reactions from around the conference.
  • In-Depth Reports/ Sponsored Content: Five-minute documentary style films from institutions in the ob-gyn specialty and providers of women’s health care programs and initiatives. These are arranged for, paid for, and recorded prior to the meeting.

In 2016, ACOG TV’s daily episodes shined a bright spotlight on the good work being done by several outstanding ob-gyn programs as well as interviews with newsmakers at the Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. See the highly popular 2016 segments.

ACOG TV promises to be even better in 2017. The following ob-gyn programs have confirmed participation and will be featured over the three daily episodes:

The University of Maryland – Division of Adolescent Health

Ohio State University – General Ob-Gyn

SHARP Mary Birch Hospital – Neonatal Research Institute

Reading Health System – Ob-Gyn Residency Program

The University of Indiana – PREGMED Program

The University of Colorado – General Ob-Gyn

The University of South Florida – Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

The University of Saskatchewan – Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

But, there is always room for more. If you are doing outstanding work at a program you are proud of, please contact the producer of ACOG TV, Sally Nelson, at WebsEdge. Please note, there is a substantial fee involved, but many benefits come with the finished video.

You can also look forward to interviews with key participants of the 2017 Annual Meeting who will bring you up to date on ACOG programs, new initiatives, and will expound on key talks.

ACOG partnered with international film and broadcasting company, WebsEdge, to produce ACOG TV. Peer medical societies who have worked with WebsEdge report a positive experience and an end product that brings flavor and excitement to their Annual Meeting.
