ACOG Practice Management Ticket Database

Managing a practice can be complex. The ACOG Practice Management team is here to help.

ACOG Practice Management staff monitor problems reported by Fellows so that we can work to ensure fair treatment of patients and ob-gyns. The new Practice Management Ticket Database covers three primary areas:

  • Third party payer problems
  • Questions related to the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) Quality Payment Program
  • Issues with your practice’s electronic health record (EHR)

Have a question related to other elements of practice management? We want to hear from you, too!

Submit your questions to the Practice Management Ticket Database.

How does it work?

Simply create a free account on the Practice Management Ticket Database page and submit a ticket! Responses will be provided in the order that they are received, usually within 5-10 business days.

The database is first and foremost a service for our members. While you may submit a ticket without an ACOG ID, questions from ACOG members will receive higher priority. Submissions without an associated ACOG physician member name or ACOG ID are assumed to be from a non-member.

Please note: In order to comply with HIPAA requirements, DO NOT include personally identifiable patient information in your ticket request.

If you have questions about the Practice Management Ticket Database, please contact the Practice Management team at practicemanagement@acog.org.

The Practice Management Ticket Database (“Ticket Database”) is designed as an educational resource and use of the Ticket Database is voluntary. By submitting a ticket to the Ticket Database, you agree that (1) you are using the Ticket Database for legitimate purposes, (2) your submission does not contain defamatory content, (3) your submission does not contain Protected Health Information (“PHI”), (4) your submission does not request medical advice, and (5) you will not make public the response you receive to your submission.
