Provides a review article on a controversial issue, an historical perspectives, and the yearly review of the ABOG Annual Board Certification examination.

• Committee Opinions – ACOG Committee Opinions represent an ACOG committee's assessment of emerging issues in obstetric and gynecologic practice and are reviewed regularly for accuracy.
• Educational/Technical Bulletins – Technical/Educational Bulletins summarize current information on techniques and clinical management issues for the practice of obstetrics and gynecology.
• Episiotomy: Procedure and Repair Techniques – Episiotomy is the most common operative procedure that most obstetricians will perform in their lifetime. Because it is so common and considered minor surgery, teaching students or interns the principles and techniques usually is left to the most junior of residents. As a result, the Residency Review Committee for Obstetrics and Gynecology (RRC) asked the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) to prepare a teaching aid for all residents, but especially those with the least experience. The result is this monograph.
• Ethics in Obstetrics & Gynecology – Provides access to ACOG's new Code of Professional Ethics and describes the concepts of biomedical ethics and how they can be used to address problems in patient care, research, and the administration and evaluation of health care.
• Guidelines for Perinatal Care – This publication by ACOG and the American Academy of Pediatrics defines basic, specialty, and subspecialty levels of perinatal care and contains updates on cystic fibrosis, HIV, breastfeeding, air travel during pregnancy, and exercise during pregnancy. It encourages all health care providers to use reproductive health screening to reduce risks.
• Guidelines for Women's Health Care – A companion volume for Guidelines for Perinatal Care, draws from a wide spectrum of sources to define principles of health care and management for diverse types of delivery systems and to outline the role of ob-gyns and other providers in hospital and office practice.
• Health Care for Adolescents – Fulltext access to valuable information on the provision of health care to adolescent patients. Topics include primary care for adolescent females, confidentiality in adolescent health care, contraceptive issues, sexually transmitted disease screening, eating disorders, and suicide prevention.
• Obstetrics & Gynecology (Green Journal) – Fulltext access to the Green Journal via Highwire Press from 1995. HTML fulltext is available from 1989-1994 on the ACOG Website, with abstracts and table of contents from 1953-1994 on Highwire Press.
• Patient Education Pamphlets – More than 100 subjects covered in layman's language for patients. Available in quantity from ACOG's Bookstore.
• Practice Bulletins – Practice Bulletins summarize current information on techniques and clinical management issues for the practice of obstetrics and gynecology. Practice Bulletins are evidence-based documents, and recommendations are based on the evidence.
• Special Issues in Women's Health – Fulltext access to valuable information on the provision of health care to women. Topics include patient communication, general management of pediatric gynecology patients, smoking and women's health, and sexual assault.
