pause has become a Digital-Only Magazine
As of the Spring/Summer 2009 issue, pause has become a digital-only magazine. ACOG's biannual magazine, for your perimenopausal and menopausal patients, will no longer be printed. The decision to go green is due to economic constraints, including the increased costs associated with postage and printing.
Digital magazines are increasing in popularity and afford many benefits to readers, including timeliness, unparalleled interaction, portability, and environmental-friendliness.
With this free e-magazine, we hope you and your patients will enjoy the expanded editorial and the new features more than ever!
ACOG is excited to move into the digital age with the launch of pause online as well as a new microsite to host the magazine at pause.acog.org. We invite you to check out both the website and the latest issue of pause. Let us know what you think; email your comments to pause@acog.org.
In the coming weeks, all Fellows who subscribed to the print edition of pause will receive bookmarks promoting the e-magazine and the new microsite to give to their patients.
Instructions for accessing digital pause for free:
- Go to www.acog.org and click on the pause cover photo on the lower left side or go directly to pause.acog.org and click on "Spring/Summer 2009 Issue". Either way, you will be taken to Zinio (the digital publisher).
