The American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG) has notified the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) that approximately 300 diplomates who needed to begin Maintenance of Certification (MOC) in 2008, have failed to do so. Attempts to reach these individuals, by registered letter have been made. If you were due to start in 2008, but did not do so (and still desire to maintain your board certification), please contact the ABOG immediately as to your options. Please be advised that some of these options expire in the very near future.

If this notice applies to you, please contact the ABOG immediately. The direct line to the MOC Department is 214-721-7510. Remember, failure to maintain certification can have adverse consequences, including loss of ACOG Fellowship.
