As a member benefit, ACOG has pre-registered its members for the Health Care Notification Network (HCNN). The HCNN immediately relays drug and medical device recalls and safety alerts to physicians via e-mail, replacing the current process of sending these alerts via U.S. mail.
The HCNN includes the ability to opt out as well as forward alert copies to selected practice/or department staff.
The HCNN is free to physicians and paid for by those who use the network for Alert delivery, the manufacturers, and the FDA.
