This monograph is designed to enable physicians to:
  • Understand the pathopysiology and clinical approaches for the prevention and management of dyslipdemia and coronary heart disease
  • Monitor risk factors for dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease and screen patients accordingly
  • Counsel patients about lifestyle factors that decrease the risk of dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease
  • Evaluate patients who have dyslipidemia or coronary heart disease and initiate management
  • Treat patients with uncomplicated dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease
Self-assessment questions are included at the end of each monograph. 5 CME credits will be awarded per issue.
