This new series of educational tools is designed for practicing obstetrician-gynecologists who provide primary health care to women. Available quarterly, each monograph emphasizes the issues that ob-gyns must consider when treating women:
This monograph is designed to enable physicians to:
- Understand the the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of the common forms of hyperthyroidism, including hyperthyroidism in pregnancy.
- Understand the the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of the common forms of hypothyroidism, including hypothyroidism in pregnancy.
- Understand the appropriate evaluation of thyroid nodules and goiter
- Understand the appropriate evaluation of thyroid nodules
- Understand the classification and basic management of thyroid cancer
Self-assessment questions are included at the end of each monograph. 5 CME credits will be awarded per issue.
