This CD ROM presents material regarding conditions affecting the breast through the use of interactive case studies. Material is presented in a realistic, lifelike fashion and clinicians will be able to follow a case from history, through evaluation and diagnosis, to summation. This program is ideal for experienced clinical practitioners who wish to continue to attain excellence in their treatment of breast conditions.
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Utilize appropriate diagnostic procedures in evaluating symptoms of commonly presented breast conditions
- Identify risk factors for breast cancer and discuss preventive measures for breast cancer with patients
- Select appropriate treatment for patients with a variety of breast conditions
- Apply the BI-RADS classification system for mammographic interpretation to distinguish a normal from abnormal mammographic finding
