Common Respiratory Disorders Description

This monograph is designed to enable obstetricians-gynecologists to:

Understand the pathophysiology and clinical approaches for the prevention and management of common respiratory disorders, including infections, allergic rhinitis, and asthma
Monitor risk factors for common respiratory disorders and screen patients accordingly
Counsel patients about lifestyle factors that decrease the risk of common respiratory disorders
Evaluate patients with respiratory disorders and initiate management
Treat patients with uncomplicated respiratory disorders and make appropriate referrals of more complicated cases.

Self-assessment questions are included at the end of each monograph. 5 CME credits will be awarded per issue.
