Care of Aging Women Description

This new series of educational tools is designed for practicing obstetrician-gynecologists who provide primary health care to women. Available quarterly, each monograph emphasizes the issues that ob-gyns must consider when treating women:
This monograph is designed to enable physicians to:
- Understand the effects of the aging process on various organ systems
- Monitor risk factors for various conditions that may occur in older women
- Counsel patients about lifestyle factors, including appropriate nutrition, exercise, and safety precautions, that may decrease their risks of mobidity and mortality
- Treat patients for conditions that occur as a result of the aging process and make appropriate referrals

Self-assessment questions are included at the end of each monograph. 5 CME credits will be awarded per issue.
