Mentors:

ACOG has a new award for mentors of Young Physicians or Junior Fellows in practice.  If you are a Young Physician or Junior Fellow who has been mentored by someone special, I would encourage you to nominate them for this award. You can get more information from the ACOG website.

We also have medical students in the community who need mentors. This usually doesn’t take a lot of time, and it is a great way to expose students to our Specialty.  I would encourage you to consider having a student in your office.
