H1N1 Vaccine for pregnant women in Missouri-Thimerosal Ban exemption

A recent statement from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Serivices has reversed the ban on thimerosal containing vaccines for pregnant women, and children under three years of age.  That decision is now left upto the pregnant women themselves and the parents of the children.  It should be noted that there is no evidence for any harm from the use of thimerosal and that the benefit of vaccination outweighs the theoretical risk of administration.
