The "Jennings Fund", as it has become known, was established in September, 2008, for the purpose of supporting educational activities of District XII.

 

The fund was proposed in honor of Dr. John Jenning's instrumental endeavors in making the Texas Section into District XI of ACOG, and his hard work during his Chair years in making the dream come true. 

 

The fund will initially be used to establish the John C. Jennings Lectureship to given each year at the Fall Annual District Meeting.   The first Lectureship will be presented in San Antonio on October 9, 2009.

 

It is also planned that this fund as it grows will enable us to support a  JENNINGS FELLOW, who would be a young Junior Fellow who would be sponsored to ACOG educational meetings such as the Annual Legislative Conference, the Future Leaders Conference, etc.
