Description: An award amount of $1250 to be able to attend one of the following meetings:

1) ACOG Annual Clinical Meeting

2) District VI Annual District Meeting

3) District VI Junior Fellow Annual District Meeting

Selection Process (Annually):

October 1st: Names of qualified students will be gathered.

January 1st: Deadline for submission of names.

February 28th: Award recipients are notified.

Requirements for Award Consideration: Current 3rd or 4th year medical student with the ability to attend one of the aforementioned meetings (see "Calendar of Events" for dates). Once the meeting is attended, the student is asked to submit a report of the experience to the District Manager, the Junior Fellow District Chair and Stephanie Williams within 2 weeks of his/her return. Students should submit their name to their section fellow, junior fellow or to SEWilliams@acog.org.
