February 10, 2015

As part of the transition to ICD-10, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) created a web site to help physician practices ensure that they have completed the necessary preparations.  The web site (roadto10.org) is designed to help physicians and administrative personnel initiate their preparation and access valuable reference tools and educational materials for use in their practice.

Upon completion of this session, the attendee should be able to:

  • Identify the key features of the roadto10.org web site.
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the web site and adjust accordingly its advice concerning their preparations.
  • Create a customized ICD-10 preparation plan for their practice.
  • Articulate the importance and advantages of proper ICD-10 readiness.
